Woodpressed Apricot Oil

Woodpressed Apricot Oil

Product Details

Made from 100% premium apricot kernels.

The Apricot Oil is extracted from premium quality apricot kernels, using a wooden mortar and pestle machine applying wooden pressure. The temperature is kept below 50 degrees C and RPM less than 10 to avoid any heat generation. Whatever minimal heat is generated, is absorbed by the wooden pestle and not transferred to the oil. This helps the oil to retain its natural flavor, aroma, and nutritional profile. The oil is allowed to stand for two days to let the sediments settle down.

The obtained oil is thick, opaque, aromatic, and as natural as it can be. It is free from any chemical or heat treatment or any preservatives, unlike refined oils.

Nutrients : Oleic acid and gamma linoleic acid, Vitamin E, A K & C

Health Benefits

1. Prevent Arthritis
Wood-pressed apricot oil is rich in essential fatty acids, particularly gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which have anti-inflammatory properties. Regular use of apricot oil can help reduce joint inflammation and stiffness, potentially lowering the risk of developing arthritis. By supporting joint health and reducing inflammation, apricot oil can play a role in preventing or managing arthritis symptoms.

2. Helps in Treating Asthma
The anti-inflammatory properties of apricot oil can be beneficial for individuals with asthma. Essential fatty acids in the oil help to reduce inflammation in the airways, which can ease asthma symptoms and improve breathing. Additionally, apricot oil's antioxidant content supports overall lung health and may help reduce the frequency and severity of asthma attacks.

3. Produce new skin cell & radiates skin
Apricot oil is rich in vitamins A and E, which are essential for skin health. Vitamin A promotes the production of new skin cells, improving skin texture and tone. Vitamin E, an antioxidant, nourishes and softens the skin while protecting it from environmental damage. Regular application of apricot oil can help achieve a radiant, glowing complexion by enhancing skin cell regeneration and overall skin hydration.

4. Repairs Signs of Aging
The antioxidants in apricot oil, including vitamins A and E, combat free radicals and oxidative stress that contribute to skin aging. By neutralizing these harmful molecules, apricot oil helps to repair existing signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles. Its protective properties also shield the skin from further damage, maintaining a youthful appearance and supporting skin elasticity.

5. Improves hair health
Apricot oil is an excellent moisturizer for the scalp due to its high fatty acid content. It alleviates excess dryness and flakiness, which can lead to hair fall. The oil’s nutrients strengthen hair follicles, improve circulation to the scalp, and provide essential vitamins for healthy hair growth. Regular use of apricot oil helps reduce hair fall, promote stronger and thicker hair, and maintain overall scalp health.

Wood-pressed apricot oil offers a range of benefits, from supporting joint and respiratory health to enhancing skin and hair care. Its rich content of antioxidants and essential fatty acids makes it a valuable addition to a holistic health and beauty regimen.

Usage

1. Premium Skincare and Haircare
Wood-pressed apricot oil is a high-quality, food-grade oil perfect for enhancing skin and hair health. Its light texture and easy absorption make it ideal for daily moisturizing and conditioning, leaving skin and hair feeling soft and revitalized.

2. Ideal for Cold Dressings and Oil Pulling
Due to its low smoke point, apricot oil is best used in cold applications like salad dressings or as part of an oil pulling routine. It adds a mild, nutty flavor to dishes and supports oral health through oil pulling.

3. Nourishing Dry Skin and Hair
Apricot oil's light and non-greasy texture makes it highly effective for hydrating dry skin and hair. Apply it directly to problem areas to improve moisture levels and enhance overall texture, making it a great choice for daily use.

4. Eases Joint Discomfort and Relieves Cold Symptoms
Apricot oil can help soothe stiff and aching joints when applied topically. Additionally, it may alleviate symptoms of cold, cough, and constipation, offering a natural remedy for common ailments.

Shelf life - 12 months when packed. However, consume it within 3 months from the date of opening.
